Fave Reads

Need something to read while you wait for my book to come out? These are some of my favorites!

This is a sweet story of the stepsister, post Cinderella's happily every after. I loved how her journey was portrayed and the way the author weaves Cinderella's story in with her stepsister's.

Nancy Campbell Allen is a genius at combining the worlds of steampunk and Victorian romance together! Her world is full of fantastical details and connecting characters across the series' four books.

Can you tell I love a Beauty and the Beast retelling? This one was a lovely twist that was a beautifully written, clean romance story with a great pairing of strong woman plus heroic man.

The combination of dragons and regency romance created a flawless blend in this story and its two sequels. The clean romance is sweet and the author does an amazing job of creating a realistic alternate Edwardian Britain.

This book and its two sequels have been enjoyed by myself and my two girls over and over again. The author creates a fresh retelling of a lesser-known fairy tale with unique characters.

Intriguing magic meets fantastical creatures in this story, along with the sweet connection of childhood friends. I really love the feline-inspired dragon creatures in this author's world!

This middle-grade fantasy was an imaginative twist on a classic fairy tale that I recommend to all fairy tale loving girls! E D Baker creates a rich world full of magic and adventure with strong female characters.

I was enthralled by both the world and the story iteslf. The setting is an alternate victorian era where magic is a normal part of life, and I particularly loved how she wove the language of flowers with magic.

The Chronicles of Narnia are a long standing favorite for a reason! Once you enter, you may never want to leave the world of fawns, centuars, and the wise and loving Aslan.

Sanderson excels at crafting well-woven stories in amazing worlds, and this book is a great example of that. This sweet fantasy romance is worth a read even if you haven't read any of his works before!

This book has been an all time favorite since I was a teen. Realistic in setting but fantastical in scope, I've always loved the rich culture Adams creates for his rabbit world, while still keeping them wild.

A wholesome story with magic, adventure, love, and a pint-sized dragon! The clever female lead is full of sass and is a delight to read.
